Wing Commander John Thornton is an Air Battle Manager in the Royal Australian Air Force and has previously held the role of ADF Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO). He is an Australian War College graduate and currently a staff officer at Headquarters Surveillance and Response Group leading Capability Management - Air.
