ADF-P-7 Learning outlines Defence's philosophy of learning, which is essential for meeting current and future capability requirements. The ADF's military ethics approach is defined in this publication, which serves as the foundation document for the ADF Ethics Continuum. It provides guidance for professional development across all ranks, and it seeks to promote ethical behavior and understanding throughout the ADF. The publication should also inform APS personnel about the nature of military ethics.

This document outlines the Australian Defence Force's perspective on leadership, serving as a foundational resource for comprehending leadership principles and a guide for leader training and development across the organization. It's intended to be a guide for self-development at every rank and for those responsible for fostering leadership within the ADF. The publication comprises a distillation of ideas and principles related to military leadership. Supplementary recommended literature is provided at the end of the publication.

The aim of the first edition of ADF-P-0 Culture in the Profession of Arms articulates the ADF's approach to culture in the context of the development of a culturally aware and cross-culturally capable force, characterised by great teams able to work most effectively with others to achieve our mission. It is the principle text on culture and cultural intelligence in the ADF.

The content of this publication has been derived from general principles and doctrine contained in other relevant publications, Defence manuals, and allied publications and agreements. Every opportunity should be taken by users of this publication to examine its content for applicability and currency.

ADF-P-0 "Character in the Profession of Arms" is the ADF's guide to developing ethical leaders with strong character. The text emphasizes the importance of character in leadership and ethical behavior. It outlines how ADF members can cultivate good habits and professional practices that reflect the highest standards of conduct. This publication seeks to apply and evolve the classical pursuit of virtuous conduct within the context of the modern Australian military.
