Other agencies often have a stereotypical view of what the ADF is and can do. They have specific expectations of what the ADF brings to a situation, and these can sometimes be limited or wrong. In my experience personnel from other Agencies can be extremely capable at working in fluid situations. They also have a profound understanding of Australian Government expectations (fewer layers of command between themselves and their relevant Federal Minister).
