Dr Joshua Roose
Dr
Dr Joshua Roose is a Senior Research Fellow at the Alfred Deakin Institute, Deakin University, Melbourne. He gained his PhD in Political Science from the Asia Institute at the University of Melbourne in 2012. Dr Roose has extensive experience on research pertaining to Indonesian Politics, Religion and Law having spent two years as a Visiting Research Fellow at the East Asian Legal Studies Program at Harvard Law School. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the International Centre for Counter Terrorism – The Hague (ICCT). He has served as an Officer in the Australian Army Reserve (Infantry).
