Professor David Whetham, the 2023 Distinguished Grey Chair, is the Director of Ethics in the Military Profession in the Defence Studies Department at King’s College London. He also serves as the Director of the King’s Centre for Military Ethics, where he delivers and coordinates ethics education for up to 3,000 British and international officers annually at the UK’s Joint Services Command and Staff College. Renowned globally, Professor Whetham has provided ethics training and education in numerous countries, including Estonia, Brunei, Romania, Serbia, Nigeria, Colombia, and Georgia. His expertise and contributions to military ethics have positioned him as an influential figure in the ethical development of military professionals worldwide.
