Lieutenant Guy Forsyth joined DL&E in 2014. He has been in the Navy Reserve since 1989 and has worked in a variety of Reserve roles from Maritime Command, as both an intelligence analyst and as part of the information systems agency, through to the Seapower Centre, and Navy Strategic Command. Outside of the Navy, Lieutenant Forsyth works as a consultant providing advice to both private and public sector clients. He has worked for some of his professions leading organisations utilising his expertise in commerce and law. In 2015 he completed his doctorate through the University of NSW at Canberra (ADFA campus) specialising in Leadership through the School of Business. His work concentrates on the philosophical underpinnings of leadership and has a primary focus on ethics. He currently tutors at ADFA in aspects of leadership studies and performs research work for DL&E.
