As part of the Joint Operations Planning module of the 2019 Australian Command and Staff Course (ACSC), students were tasked to analyse the ability of a prescribed planning process such as the Australian Joint Military Appreciation Process to deliver Operational Art.
The work that follows is a small selection from the course. Originally produced under examination conditions these pieces have been edited from their original exam essay format to better suit The Forge editorial guidelines. These pieces are the original work of the authors, and although selected as quality papers, they should not be taken as the position or view of the Australian War College (AWARC) or the Department of Defence.
We hope you enjoy this selection of thoughts from the ACSC Class of 2019.
